William T. Bell

Founder

William T. Bell has been active in the real estate profession in the Syracuse area since 1970. His first seven years were spent with Pyramid Brokerage Company, which was part of The Pyramid Companies, where his duties included land acquisition for shopping centers and the leasing and development of shopping centers, office buildings and warehouses. In 1977, he joined The Pioneer Group and was responsible for leasing a portfolio that included One Park Place, Financial Plaza, The 500 Building, Corporate Center, three suburban office buildings, seven shopping centers and a warehouse park. He was also involved in the development and leasing of The Galleries of Syracuse. In 1986, Bill founded the Bell Group.

Mark A. Bethmann

President

Mark A. Bethmann is a 1982 graduate of Syracuse University. Mark entered the commercial real estate industry in 1985 working for a local developer, providing tenant consulting and build to suit services. In 1990, Mark was recruited by a prominent regional developer as Director of Tenant Development. During his 5 years in this role his responsibilities included facilities development, office leasing and tenant services. Mark negotiated numerous leases and development deals, as well as being responsible for site selection and procurement. His in-depth experience and knowledge of the development industry brings additional value to the partnership of the Bell Group. Mark joined the Bell Group in 1995.

Bob L. DeSarbo

Vice President of Albany Regional Market

Bob L. DeSarbo Robert L. De Sarbo has a B.S. from the State University of New York at Buffalo, a graduate degree from the State University of New York at Albany, and has pursued studies at Harvard University in Cambridge, MA. He has long standing history of leadership and management in educational administration. Bob is a licensed real estate salesperson and has been with the Bell Group since 2003. Prior to the Bell Group he was an appraisal assistant with Carpico Appraisals. He has a breadth of knowledge regarding real estate market data and analysis in the Albany region. Bob will aid the Bell Group in expanding market presence within Upstate New York and the Capital Region.

Patrick M. Benz

Vice President of Development/Design & Construction

Patrick M. Benz graduated cum laude from Rochester Institute of Technology before beginning his professional career in construction and development services. In his former role as Vice President of Hardy Construction Services, Pat headed the commercial design/build program, servicing commercial construction projects totaling over $30 million for various facilities such as: office, educational, medical, warehouse, manufacturing, retail, restaurants and hotels. Pat offers a unique combination of commercial general construction development experience, along with tenant representation lease negotiation.

Lisa A. Sterritt

Vice President of Business Development

Lisa A. Sterritt is a licensed real estate salesperson. She joined the Bell Group in April 2004. Prior to the Bell Group, Lisa began her professional career in New York City with Accenture, a global management consulting, technology company. In her former role she traveled throughout the country and acted as a liaison between Accenture and client executives of Fortune 500 Companies, Government Agencies and Educational Institutions. Her area of focus at Accenture was in the design and development of online business applications. At the Bell Group, Lisa focuses her efforts on new business development and tenant representation.

Sarah S. Tucci

Real Estate Consultant

Sarah S. Tucci Sarah Tucci joined the Syracuse office in September 2007. Sarah is a licensed real estate salesperson specializing in working with tenants throughout upstate New York in their commercial real estate needs, and is also responsible for the generation of new business. Sarah earned her law degree from Syracuse University College of Law (J.D., 2005). She earned her undergraduate degree from the University at Albany (B.S., cum laude, 2002), where she majored in Business Administration with a dual concentration in Marketing and Management. Sarah was born and raised in Syracuse, graduating from Christian Brothers Academy in 1998. Before coming to the Bell Group, Sarah worked at a local law firm, and a lending institution.

David H. LaPointe

Business Development

David H. LaPointe joined the Bell Group in February 2009. David is responsible for business development primarily in upstate New York. He will generate new business opportunities and build strong relationships with potential clients. He is responsible for communicating with companies to qualify their current and future real estate needs. David is a 2008 graduate of St. Lawrence University in Canton, NY.

Alina I. Bloshkin

Marketing & Communications Coordinator

Alina I. Bloshkin Alina Bloshkin joined the Bell Group in April 2009. Alina is currently the director of market research. She is also responsible for web management and all web related affairs, as well as creating and developing marketing materials. Alina will head the development and enhancement of the Bell Group's media relations and special events. Alina was born in Kiev, Ukraine and was raised in Syracuse, NY. She studied at LeMoyne College, where she majored in marketing and achieved her B.S. degree in December 2008.
